ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (part 1)

After 4 months and 6 countries visited, this is the end of the first part of my trip. It's also time to thank all the people I got to share that experience with.

First of all, my sister who's always been supportive and loving. You're my sibling, my best friend, my model, my mentor, my soulmate. I'm glad you found the strength to come visit me, I'm grateful and I love you more than words can tell.

A Then, I'd like to thank my friends in France or abroad that didn't turn down on me even though I've been far away for a very long time:

- Clément, my life saver and favorite geek, my publisher on the side. You're a great friend ;

- Marina, the craziest tap dancing nurse I know (is there any other) ;

- Lucilette, the 'crazy goat' with the most twisted mind ;

- Charlène, my personal cook. I miss your nice little dishes so much;

- Sophie, my bestest pal I hope I can visit you soon in Helsinki ;

- Jeremy, because you know you love me ;

- Florian, my Stitch I miss you ;

- Mélusine, Jess, Aline, my personal musketeers ;

- Laeti, I can't wait to meet lil' Zoé ;

- Vouniou, my very own Poutine lover. Next summer, we've got to break new pool volley records ;

- Fabien, so sorry I can't join you for your 30th birthday but you're in my heart ;

- Vini, globe-trotter / doctor but most of all a great reliable friend!

I definitely can't forget my former travel buddies whom I kept in touch with:

- Ares: I wish you were there to teach me some kicking and punching sometimes. And I want to impress you with my newly acquired driving skills ;

- David & Camille : nobody dares to give me nicknames anymore. The Philibert inside me is frustrated! Thanks for calling me the day I left and was so confused, I won't forget that ;

- Carole & Gaspard: hope we don't miss each other next summer. We'd be glad to show you around ;

- Lena: coming back to Thailand reminded me of all the good times we shared in Koh Kanta. You're the only one I could ever read '50 shades of Grey' to.

Last but not least: the most loyal followers that I've met or not, and I owe you for motivating me to do my best to be more entertaining and creative every day:

- Romain: you're a fan and you tell me every now and then. You can't be more flattering ;

- Julien: Myanmar impressed me when I was there but it also allowed me to get to know you which is cool. So young and already so curious about the world ;

- Dan: I was your follower and I'm flattered that you are mine now. Thanks for your tips!

- Antoine David: always thoughts and nice words to me and I appreciate it ;

- Fanny Robin: thanks for your 'likes' and 'comments'. I hope we meet when I visit your bro. You seem to be a great artist!
