DAY210: THE LAST ONE

7am: My first moments in Paris were very nice. Staying at a long time friend's place, having dinner with his family was great. Then I went for a drink with another friend and it was not much fun. Maybe I'm not ready for the big change yet or maybe it's just the jetlag or the gap I feel between us.

9am: Everything is so quiet on a Sunday morning. I was looking for a bakery but they all seem closed so I returned empty handed. But the amazing thing is: someone I met traveling spotted me walking in the streets... Laurent from Sri Lanka! Doesn't it sound crazy?!

10am: Went for a quick coffee with Laurent, he only has a short break between his shifts. It's so random to meet him here and a real pleasure as well! It's hard not to believe in fate!

5pm: Spent most of the day with my friend Vouniou, who came visit me in Indonesia a couple of months ago and agreed on taking the Komodo cruise with me. So nice to see her back here! Probably the friend who understands best what I'm going through now.

9.30pm: Days are longer here because nights start very late compared to Asia. I'm really exhausted. It was a lovely day though and as the weather gets sunnier, my mood gets better and more positive. I think I'm ready to face the real world now. The circle is complete! This time it's time to say goodbye and start a new adventure. Life!
